Manufacturing process
The process consists of a hydrogen reduction process in which the finely ground oxide
powder (< 1 µm) is
first granulated (≈ 30 µm) and then subjected to a two-stage heat treatment for H2 reduction and sintering.
A spherical iron powder with a particle size of < 15 µm is formed. After the reduction step, the iron powder is further processed by grinding with hybridizer technology to obtain the desired
material properties.
